Vocational training is a pillar, not sufficiently recognized, of the economic and social development as well as being a central agent in stimulating business innovation capacity and improving productivity. Therefore it is important to consider the role of interim workers in the innovation processes of industrial SMEs .
The main questions to be answered in this book are:
• How training centers and companies interact, and what is the scope of the various types of relationship?
• To what extent VET institutions perform activities such as continuing education and support for innovation? What potential and difficulties exist in this regard ?
• And in general, how the locale affects the configuration of the vocational training system and the relationship between this and the companies?
