Talking about immigration and Islam in Spain is practically inveitable today. Speaking of recognition of rights in the field of religious pluralism helps us, however, and as a first step, to not blur too much our approach, as religious practice and recognition of the rights and duties of individuals in this area, be they citizens or legal residents, are part of fundamental rights which must be respected and valued for proposing the building of a more robust and egalitarian society.
