This book discusses the factors, of political and ideological nature, which are behind the new education laws, specifying the influence of Total Quality Management and Competence Management in the dynamics of educational reforms. Also explores how the commitment to an education under the principles of inclusiveness and the elimination of exclusionary school practices is to acknowledge the influence of social inequalities in school inequality, and ask under which conditions school is more neutral and objective.
