Abstract:
This article analyzes the mobilization and worker self-management strategies of recuperated enterprises in Argentina, which arose during the country’s socioeconomic crisis (2001–2002) and continue today. We focus on the mechanisms and processes that favor self-management. Specifically, we focus on the relation between the mobilization process and the processes of market insertion on the part of these collective experiences. We study political articulation mechanisms (brokerage), opportunities, identity changes, certification, and competence in the current Argentine context, which have also shaped the social movement. Second, we analyze the self-management strategies of workers and the way in which the social movement conditions those strategies
